What a simply adorable and huggable antique
vintage baby doll this gorgeous darling is!
Just think this little girl baby doll is 80
YEARS OLD! This is a 16 inch Madame
Hendren Doll named Baby Bright and
manufactured in 1928. In May of 1929 the
Averill Co. Inc. advertised that their stores
should Hendrenize their doll departments.
They featured the Baby Hendren Dolls. Made
with a composition flange head, arms, straight
legs above the knee and a cloth bodies. This
one had molded painted blond hair and hazek
celluloid sleep eyes, a mouth with two upper
teeth and a crier but as with the majority of
these antique dolls the crier no longer works.
This darlings composition has been
professionally by the absolute best lady in the
doll restoration field and lightly restored to
her original smooth finish and her makeup
has been gently restored to her natural
original beauty.

Baby Bright is wearing a pink pair of pants
and matching top. A hand made crochet hat
with pink ribbon completes her ensemble.
These dolls are very similar in looks to the
Effanbee Bubbles dolls and both the Effanbee
Bubbles and the Hendren dolls are very
popular collectible dolls.
